BEGINNERS FACE PAINTING WORKSHOP

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the basics you need to become a competent face painter. We'll cover safety & hygiene, sponge work, color theory, blending, how to choose a brush, proper brush care and a variety of brush strokes.
There will be plenty of opportunities to practice what we learn. Come prepared to paint and be painted! You will be shown basic full faces and be able to practice these faces after each step-by-step demo.

INTERMEDIATE CLASS-
Fast Full Faces with Impact-

These are the reputation builders, the faces that will earn you clients and $$$.
Prepare to paint along as I show you how to paint my favorite faces.
If there's a face that you've seen me do and want included, let me know!
We will discuss what works in the design, what to change to make it your own personal signature style.
This class is for proficient painters. You will need to be able to do a solid, non-blotchy base, blend smoothly, have an idea of color theory as well as be competent with your linework. No beginners. Images will be required.

For Both classes:

A maximum class size of 8 insures that you will have the close individual attention you need to learn the basics of face painting.
If you have your own face painting kit, please bring it so that you can practice what you are learning with tools that are familiar to you. Otherwise, let me know so I can provide you with the items you need for the workshop.

Class will be held in Passaic, NJ, easily accessible by public transit from NYC.
